We’re proud to share that Quartile has been named the Strategic Localization Award Winner in the 2026 Amazon Ads Partner Awards for our work with Honeysticks, the New Zealand children’s art brand known for its natural, sustainably made beeswax crayons and other creative products.

Honeysticks had a bold ambition: bring its thoughtfully made products to more families across eight global Amazon marketplaces. The brand knew meaningful growth would depend on understanding what matters to shoppers in each one. Together, we turned that understanding into a strategy for growth across borders.

One Brand. Eight Markets. Different Reasons to Buy.

Honeysticks has spent more than a decade earning the trust of families with premium children’s art products. As it expanded globally, the goal was to bring that same distinctive brand to new audiences and make it relevant in every market.

That meant getting closer to the customer. Shoppers in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia came to Honeysticks with different priorities. New European markets brought their own languages, search habits, and competitive dynamics. Each market called for a strategy grounded in how its shoppers actually buy.

Working closely with Honeysticks, our team used Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) to uncover the motivations behind demand. In the U.S., clean-living interests stood out. In Canada, premium quality and gifting mattered. In the U.K., educational value resonated, while life-stage needs shaped the opportunity in Australia. AMC overlap analysis showed which lifestyle signals aligned with purchase behavior, revealing high-converting audiences that keyword data alone could not identify.

At Quartile, AMC data feeds an audience engine built to act on those signals. Our Pro Suite platform automatically evaluates audience performance, combines high-performing segments into custom audiences, and activates them across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Amazon DSP. It continuously optimizes audience-based bids as results come in. Our experts use that intelligence to decide how each market’s campaigns should be structured and where to invest.

For Honeysticks, we paired the audience strategy with local campaign changes. We consolidated U.S. campaigns to improve efficiency and rebuilt campaigns in Canada, the U.K., and Australia around local search behavior. For launches in Spain, France, and Italy, we adapted campaign structures, keywords, and audience investment to local conditions. The brand stayed unmistakably Honeysticks; the strategy met shoppers on their terms.

Global Ambition, Measurable Results

The AMC-powered approach delivered growth across regions and stronger efficiency:

  • AMC audiences achieved a 44% higher conversion rate than standard campaigns while delivering 20% lower ACoS.
  • Canada grew total sales 43% year over year, exceeding its 25% target.
  • Australia grew total sales 20% year over year, while new-to-brand customers in the U.S. grew 44% year over year.
  • Spain, France, and Italy launched below 27% ACoS. Spain and Italy then scaled 3x in month two while maintaining efficiency.

Honeysticks brought the vision, the product, and a deep understanding of the families it serves. Our team brought the audience insights, technology, and hands-on expertise to turn that vision into measurable growth across markets.

A Win Built on Partnership

Thank you to Honeysticks for trusting us with its global ambitions and for bringing such conviction and collaboration to the work. Thank you to Amazon Ads for recognizing the results, and to the Quartile team whose expertise made them possible.

This is what strategic localization can deliver: a brand that stays true to itself and a growth strategy that speaks to each market.
